Mormons to Mecca? A most radical idea!

Mecca during the Hajj
During a conversation some months ago, my oldest son suggested that Mormons, since their church is having increasing trouble being taken seriously these days, ought to join in with Muslims to set an example by praying with them in Mecca for peace and brotherhood. I thought it was a great idea! Of course the Mormon church institution--the corporate church--would never consider such a thing. But brave, well-motivated and earnest Mormon individuals (and Muslims) could take the initiative. Of course, they would have to value love and justice over the fears and dogmas, which are taught by most religious traditions, including theirs. Naive? Yes. Impossible? I don't think so.

Aliens preventing Nuclear War??

Below is a recent provocative (if not weird) email exchange with friend Joseph Dillard in Berlin about aliens and/or extraterrestrials. It is a topic I've wanted to discuss in depth with him for years, if not decades. Therefore I was delighted when he emailed the article below to get it started:

‘Aliens prevented nuclear war on Earth’: Former NASA astronaut makes unexpected claim

Aliens came to Earth to stop a nuclear war between the US and the Soviet Union at the start of the Cold War, according to the sixth man to walk the surface of the moon.
Edgar Mitchell, an astronaut on the Apollo 14 mission in 1971, says peace-loving aliens visited our planet during weapons tests at US missile bases and the famous White Sands Proving Ground in the New Mexico desert – where the world's first nuclear bomb was detonated in 1945.
"White Sands was a testing ground for atomic weapons - and that's what the extra-terrestrials were interested in," the 84-year-old told Mirror Online. “They wanted to know about our military capabilities.”
He added that the extraterrestrials were “attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth.”
Mitchell also says that other officers support his claims.
"I have spoken to many Air Force officers who worked at these silos during the Cold War," he said. "They told me UFOs were frequently seen overhead and often disabled their missiles.”
"Other officers from bases on the Pacific coast told me their [test] missiles were frequently shot down by alien spacecraft,” he added.
While the claims may seem out-of-this-world, they've become somewhat expected from Mitchell, who has been outspoken about his belief in aliens since landing on the surface of the moon.
Mitchell has previously stated that aliens looks quite a lot like the stereotypical image – a small body with a large head and eyes.
He also adamantly maintains that aliens landed in Roswell, New Mexico, nearly 70 years ago, claiming that some of them were captured alive.
He believes the US government has covered up the landing ever since, fearing its superior technology would find its way into the hands of Soviet Russia, the Daily Express reported in May.
"The best course of action was to just lie about it, and keep it to themselves. They labeled it 'above top-secret’, and that created the long running iron curtain separating a secret group within the government, and the American public,” he said.
However, NASA released a statement in 2008 which said that “NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover up about alien life on this planet or anywhere in the universe.”
The space agency added that “Dr. Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue.”
Following the NASA statement, Mitchell clarified to Fox News that his comments did not involve NASA, but cited unnamed sources who told him that the Roswell incident did involve alien spacecraft. He also says he has received confirmation from an unnamed intelligence officer at the Pentagon.
In 2004, the former astronaut told the St. Petersburg Times that a “cabal of insiders” in the US government was studying alien bodies, and that this group had stopped briefing US presidents about their progress after John F. Kennedy.
Mitchell also claimed in 1996 that the US government has benefited from extraterrestrials' “sonic engineering secrets.”
But despite all his claims, he told AskMen last year that he had never actually seen a UFO.
The sixth person to walk on the moon, Mitchell spent nine hours on the lunar surface in 1971, in the Fra Mauro Highlands region.

On August 13, Eugene Kovalenko replied:
There is much more evidence to support this, such as a Soviet documentary (Men in Black, Russian version, referred to by Medvedev when he was president. [  ]). Also, by former USAF officers at missile sites in North Dakota and Montana as told in the 2013 Citizen Hearing on Disclosure [ ].

Later on Aug 13, Joseph Dillard responded:

The basic problem I have is not that there are not extraterrestrials, but that they are going to save us from killing ourselves, turning them into Rescuers in the Drama triangle or some sort of New Age Messiahs. They have allowed all sorts of civilizations to collapse in the past; why not ours? As bad as nuclear war would be, it is unlikely to wipe out all humans, just most of them.

On Aug 13 (Los Alamos time), Eugene Kovalenko replied:
OK, so maybe that's what's coming. So what?! Don't you think we can nevertheless continue with our current conscious lives as they are and continue with IDL, CREEI and other transpersonal methods and discoveries until we move on into spirit where physical stuff is only a shadow of the spirit anyway?
On Aug 14, 2015, at 9:47 AM (Berlin time), Joseph Dillard again responded:
Good question, Eugene!

In my world mythology, life evolves ever more complex forms in order to wake up to itself. So life in the world is where the action is. If it were after death or in some other non-physical dimension, it becomes harder to understand why life keeps pouring so much of itself into evolving life on planet earth. And of course it is continuing to evolve: when we interview dream characters and personifications of our life issues we get in touch with emerging potentials of life that are attempting to be born within us as higher octaves of confidence, empathy, wisdom, acceptance, inner peace, and witnessing. So yes - we absolutely need to keep spreading CREEI and IDL in order to help people get out of their own way so that life can wake up more fully in and through all of us.

Significant RPK event!

Event: 12 July 2015
Updated: 20 Aug 15

Core RPK device

On July 12 during a second 48-hour run by operator Iota using the new protocol, the most significant event to date occurred. The silver disk swung significantly (it did not bounce!) without affecting the red disk, which red disk subsequently bounced slightly a few seconds later. This is the kind of behavior we have been looking for since two motion detection surveillance cameras were added to the system in 2009.

Today, 20 August, Iota began her third 48-hour run. We will report results shortly after she finishes and then check the electronic record at the core site.

Earlier this month, on August 15-17, operator Alpha returned to the experiment after six years absence and completed her first 48-hour run. When colleague Quinn returns from travel, we will assess both records.
